Todd Jackson

Todd Jackson of the University of Maine men’s hockey team has been named co-CCM Hockey East Player of the Week after helping Maine win the Maverick Stampede tourney in Omaha, Neb. Jackson scored two goals in each game, including two shorthanded.

Jimmy Howard

Jimmy Howard of the University of Maine men’s hockey team has been named CCM Defensive Player of the Week after he helped the Black Bears shut out two-time defending national champion and top-ranked Minnesota 4-0 last Friday in the Maverick Stampede tourney in Omaha, Neb.

Ian Doumas

Ian Doumas of the University of Southern Maine men’s soccer team was named Little East Conference Offensive player of the week after he tallied three goals and added an assist for seven points to help Southern Maine post a 2-1 mark in three contests. He netted the game-tying goal against UMass Boston to give Southern Maine it’s first Little East Conference win, and added a pair of goals and one assist in the 5-0 win over Thomas College.

Aadil Mootassem

Aadil Mootassem, a midfielder/forward for the UM Fort Kent soccer team was named Sunrise Conference Offensive Player of the week for his two goals in a 2-0 win over St. Josephs.

Tim Dolley

Tim Dolley a goalkeeper at UM Presque Isle has been named Sunrise Conference Defensive Player of the week because of his 1-0 shutout over St. Joseph’s with a game-saving save with under a minute to play.

Charles Bard

Charles Bard of UM Fort Kent has been named Sunrise Conference Defensive Player of the week. Bard, a defender, saved a pair of shots to preserve the shutout over St. Joseph’s.
