Fans of the University of Maine women’s basketball team are invited to join the Black Bear players and coaching staff for “Great Skates with the Black Bears.” The roller skating event, sponsored by the Friends of Maine Women’s Basketball, is scheduled Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Great Skates in Bangor.

The cost is $5, which includes skate rental. The team also will be available for laser tag.
