I sat down recently with a handful of Maine State Lottery scratch tickets and watched as the local television station put up the Pick 3 and Pick 4 numbers.

These were quickly followed by an ad to purchase Megabucks tickets, and I said to myself, “Boy am I glad the governor and his friends saved me from the horrors of gambling by stopping the casino.” Such hypocrisy.
