Roxanne Quimby is scheduled to speak at the monthly Forest Resources Association dinner in Brewer next Thursday, giving a talk titled “My Vision for the North Woods.” Though made up of loggers and mill owners, the group invited Quimby in hopes of better understanding her perspective, spokesman Patrick Hackley said Tuesday.

Reservations are required for the Thursday, Dec. 4, forum at Jeff’s Catering in Brewer. A social hour begins at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6:15 p.m. and Quimby’s talk at 7 p.m. Dinner costs $18 per person, and reservations for the talk alone will cost $5.
