Matt Clement

Maine Maritime Academy junior center Matt Clement was named the North Atlantic Conference Player of the Week of men’s basketball. Clement averaged 26.5 points per game and 16.5 rebounds per game.

Julia Knights

Julia Knights of Maine Maritime Academy was honored as the North Atlantic Conference Player of the Week for women’s basketball. The sophomore guard/forward averaged 14.5 ppg, 6.5 rpg, and 3.5 steals per game and was named to the Salem State All Tournament team.

Jesse McKinnell

University of Southern Maine sophomore forward Jesse McKinnell was selected as the Rookie of the Week for the Little East Conference. McKinnell averaged 8.3 points per game and 7.7 rebounds per game.

Derek Rodgerson

Franklin Pierce senior guard Derek Rodgerson, who also attended Hampden Academy, was named the NE-10 men’s basketball Player of the Week. He averaged 22.5 points per game and 4.5 rebounds while shooting 72.2 percent from the field to help Franklin Pierce to a 2-0 week.

Andrew St. Clair

Andrew St. Clair of Colby-Sawyer College was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Co-Player of the week for men’s basketball with Ryan Smith of Gordon. St. Clair averaged 25.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game en route to being named to the Babson Invitational All-Tourney Team.

Patrick McGowan

Colby College men’s basketball player Patrick McGowan was honored as the NESCAC Player of the Week. He scored a collegiate-high 39 points against Husson College in Saturday’s Maine event title game.
