Boehmer goal, assist lift Rams over Black Raiders

WINSLOW – Matt Boehmer scored one goal and assisted on another as the Bangor High hockey team earned a 3-2 victory over Winslow in action at Sukee Arena Wednesday.

Dan Shufelt and Mike McPike added a goal each and Ben Silver an assist for the 4-6 Rams. Andrew Riley made 21 saves on 23 shots.

Kevin McCabe scored both goals and Zach Goppa and Clint Willoughby had assists for the 9-4 Black Raiders. Devin Grenier saved 33 of 36 shots.

At Lee, Brook Harris led five players in double figures with 14 points as Lee Academy rolled.

Aarika Ritchie netted 13 points and Dana Houghton 12 for the Pandas. Amanda Gifford added 11 and Jackie Moors 10.

Audra Eaton led the Mariners with four points.
