The University of Maine women’s hockey team will conduct a free Youth Day on Saturday in conjunction with its 1 p.m. Hockey East game against Northeastern at Alfond Arena in Orono.

The UMaine volleyball team will entertain youth participants beginning at 12:30 p.m. inside the arena. Activities include face-painting and sign-making, while the players will sit with the youngsters during the game to help cheer on the Black Bear women’s hockey team.

There will be an autograph session and tours of the locker rooms after the game. Admission is free to all UMaine women’s hockey games. For more information, call 581-1086.
