The University of Maine athletic department, in an effort to recognize academic excellence among young Black Bear fans, is again sponsoring it’s A+ Attendance Program.

Students in grades K-8 from all across Maine can earn two free tickets to a UMaine basketball game either by being named to its school honor roll or by having perfect attendance in any academic quarter this year.

Qualifying students should contact their school office for more information. Tickets are available to men’s games on Jan. 4 or 28 and women’s games Dec. 28 or Jan. 7. Call 581-4849 for more information.
