WINSLOW – Five different players scored a goal to help the Brewer Witches defeat the Skowhegan Indians 5-2 in the mutual high school hockey opener at Sukee Arena Wednesday night.
Matt Grimes, Eamon Harding, Ben Caldwell, Devin Fitzpatrick and Andrew Patterson each had a goal for the winners. Aaron Saunders had 21 saves on 23 shots.
Scott Libby and Jake Robitaille scored for the Indians. Jared Johnson and Ben Jordan combined for 17 saves on 22 shots.
