The Maine Maritime Academy men’s basketball team improved its record to 4-3 after defeating Elms College 63-59 on Sunday and beating Becker College 80-69 on Saturday.
At Leicester, Mass., Matt Clement scored 24 points and had nine rebounds to help push the Mariners of Castine past Becker Saturday.
Adam Leclair chipped in with 18 points for the Mariners and Doug Russell added 16. B.J. Dunlap had 11 points and six assists.
David Bostick scored 23 points for Becker.
At Chicopee, Mass., Sunday, junior center Clement scored 16 points and grabbed 16 rebounds and MMA outscored Elms 36-25 in the second half to erase a seven-point halftime deficit.
Leclair also scored 16 points for the Mariners; Marc McCorrison had 11 and Russell scored 10 points. Neil Stewart had five assists.

The Bears, who outshot Union 59-14, improved to 7-7-3.
