Basic engineer training

CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. – Marine Corps Pvt. Anthony Ugarek, son of Patricia Worster of Glenburn, recently graduated from the Marine Corps Basic Combat Engineer Course at Marine Corps Engineer School, Camp Lejeune, N. C.

Ugarek is a 1996 graduate of Brewer High School. He joined the Marine Corps in April.

LAWTON, Okla. – Army National Guard Pvt. Andrew Davis has graduated from basic combat military training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.

Davis is a 1989 graduate of John Bapst Memorial High School in Bangor.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Army Pvt. Austin Pollard has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

Pollard is the son of Gayle Pollard of Bucksport, and a 1992 graduate of Old Town High School.

Advanced training

FORT POLK, La. – Army Spec. Sean Kraft has graduated from the U.S. Army Medic School at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.

He is assigned to the 155th Field Hospital unit at Fort Polk, La., which is attached to the 2nd Armored Cavalry.
