BANGOR – Daryl Watson scored 17 of his game-high 28 points in the second half Thursday night as the Eastern Maine Community College Golden Eagles pulled away for an 89-68 men’s basketball victory over Northern Maine Community College of Presque Isle.

Cyle Arbuckle contributed 26 points, while Adam Beaulieu tallied 11 and Joey Dionne netted 10. Eric Curtis cleared 11 rebounds. Watson also had nine assists.

Cory Shilios’ 19 points led NMCC, while Robbie Hill scored 15, Greg Fellis had 12 points and nine rebounds, and Craig Durost added 10 points.
