NASHVILLE PLANTATION – A Portage Lake woman suffered minor injuries Friday morning when the four-wheel drive vehicle she was operating left the road and rolled over.
Debra Homes, 39, was taken to The Aroostook Medical Center by Ashland Ambulance Service, according to Deputy Mike Montpetit, who investigated.
According to the officer, Holmes said she was southbound on Route 11, just south of the Portage Lake line, when she met a northbound logging truck that crossed over the centerline of the road about 10:15 a.m.
Moving over, she lost control of her vehicle, rolled over and stopped after striking some trees.
Montpetit estimated damage to the 1996 vehicle at $3,000.
