Among the seminary’s goals, in a recent statement:

? Create a viable, visible Portland-area campus, including “selecting and marketing a new name that grounds the campus in the Portland area.”

? Continue to encourage military chaplains to refer noncommissioned officers seeking new directions.

? Establish a center for the study of the small church.

? Develop new forms of education for laypeople.
