Campbell lifts Washburn by Easton for 6th

WASHBURN – Emily Campbell scored eight of her 19 points when Washburn outscored Easton 17-5 in the second quarter en route to a 50-40 schoolgirl basketball victory Monday night.

Campbell finished with 19 points and nine rebounds and Liza Maynard added 11 points.

Kassie Lovely paced Easton with 15 points and Nina Alexander put in 13.

Whitney Stevens hit the basket to send the game into the extra session and finished with 29, including seven in overtime, for the Raiders of East Machias. Jared Gray added 22 points.
