EAST SULLIVAN – Jim White’s put-back off a Dylan Johnson steal and miss with five seconds left in overtime gave the Sumner Tigers a 53-51 overtime win over the Narraguagus Knights in schoolboy basketball action Saturday.
Kyle Joy finished with a game-high 15 points including six in overtime. Johnson had 12 points, White contributed 11 points and 12 rebounds and Jeff Burditt chipped in with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Jamie Bailey’s 14 points, Saben Rossi’s 11 and Eric Peltier’s eight led Narraguagus. Rossi’s three-pointer with three seconds left in regulation forced the overtime.

At Travis Roy Arena in Yarmouth, freshman Matt Boehmer pounced on a loose puck during a scramble and roofed it from point-blank range with three minutes remaining to give Bangor its win over North Yarmouth Academy.
T. J. Vanidestine and Nick Payson assisted on the game-winner.
Payson had three goals to go with his assist. Ben Payson and Brandon Prescott had the other goals with Ben Estabrook and Dylan George notching assists.
Aaron Buzzell made 29 saves for the 11-4 Rams.
Dan Bartlett had three goals for NYA with Jake Sider and Dan Dearing getting the others. Matt Curran had two assists and Kevin Saulillo made 10 saves for 8-2 NYA.

At Bangor’s Sawyer Arena, Derek Smith scored a pair of goals and assisted on another and Jon Catell made 28 saves as Foxcroft triumphed.
Joey Caparrelli had a pair of goals for the 5-8 Ponies and Logan Forest had the other one. Mitch Sawyer and Adam Conway had assists.
Jason Huntley and Kevin Brooks scored for 8-7 Hampden Academy and Huntley also had an assist. Chris Standley and Steve Boutin also had assists and Ryan Richards and Rory Woods combined for 14 saves.
