I just finished Matthew Miller’s column, “Pablo’s revenge: Devastating portrait” (BDN, Jan. 16), which was great. Thank God for his columns or even better the ones by Molly Ivins. Now there is a Texas gal with pluck, especially the Jan. 21 column, “It’s not about trust, it’s all about money today.”

What is really puzzling is why would a nice paper like the Bangor Daily News print column written by Cal Thomas?
