Missy Stults

A senior center for the University of New England in Biddeford, Missy Stults was named Co-Player of the Week by the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association and Commonwealth Coast Conference Co-Player of the Week. She had three consecutive double-doubles in the Nor’easters’ 3-0 week to give her 45 for her career. She averaged 20.3 points, 13.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists, while shooting 54 percent (27 0f 50) from the floor and 87.5 percent (7 of 8) from the line.

Gill Guest

Gill Guest, a senior forward at UMaine-Machias, was named Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Co-Player of the Week. She averaged 22.5 points and 9 rebounds as the Clippers split a pair of games. She had 25 points, eight rebounds, three steals, and two blocked shots vs. Lyndon State.

Karen Sirois

A guard from Augusta, Karen Sirois of UMaine-Farmington was named Co-Rookie of the Week by the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association. She averaged 18.5 points, 5 assists, and 4.0 steals in a 2-0 week for the Beavers. In a 58-57 win over Colby, she had 20 points and four steals. For the week she was perfect on 12 free-throw attempts.

Ashley Marble

Ashley Marble, a sophomore forward from the University of Southern Maine, was picked by the Maine Women’s Basketball Association and the Little East Conference as Co-Rookie of the Week. She averaged 16.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5 steals as the Huskies ran their record to 20-1 with a pair of victories. Marble was 69.2 percent (9 of 13) from the floor and 88.2 percent (15 of 17) from the line.

Will Snyder

University of Southern Maine junior Will Snyder was named Little East Conference Field Performer of the Week. He cleared 15 feet, 8.74 inches in the pole vault at the Men’s Indoor State of Maine Championships to break a 28-year-old meet record and eclipse his own school record.

Teryn Clark

Teryn Clark of the University of Southern Maine was named the Little East Conference Field Performer of the Week. Making steady progress through the season, she registered a personal best of 9-foot-1 to win the pole vault in the Women’s Indoor State of Maine Championship meet.

Matt Clement Jr.

Maine Maritime Academy junior center Matt Clement Jr. was named Co-Player of the Week by the Maine Men’s Basketball Coaches Association. Clement had 35 points, 20 rebounds, and five blocks in an 84-75 win over Husson College.

T.J. McLeod

Senior guard T.J. McLeod of Bowdoin College was honored as the Co-Player of the Week by the Maine Men’s Basketball Coaches Association. McLeod led Bowdoin in scoring in two conference games, including a game-high 23 points against Bates on Sunday.

Wayne Clarke

University of Maine-Machias junior center Wayne Clarke was named the Maine Men’s Basketball Coaches Association Co-Player of the Week. Clarke averaged 23 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists per game.

Drew Cohen

Freshman center Drew Cohen of Colby College was honored as the Maine Men’s Basketball Coaches Association Co-Rookie of the Week. Cohen averaged 17 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.5 blocks in two games.

Bill Beaursgard

Husson College freshman guard Bill Beaursgard was named the Co-Rookie of the Week by the Maine Men’s Basketball Coaches Association. Beaursgard had 23 points and seven rebounds in one game for the Braves.
