ELLSWORTH – A 16-year-old girl received minor injuries Monday morning when the car she was driving rolled over on Route 179 in Ellsworth.

According to Officer Gil Jamieson of the Ellsworth Police Department, Amber Wetmore of Ellsworth was traveling south on Route 179 when she lost control of her vehicle. She overcorrected and the car flipped completely over and came to rest on its tires.

Wetmore received a small cut on her hand but did not seek medical treatment. Her 1994 Dodge received an estimated $3,000 in damage.
