BOSTON – Federal authorities said Monday they had made 60 arrests around New England in a weeklong roundup of alleged criminal alien fugitives.

All of those arrested previously had been ordered deported for offenses ranging from assault and battery to threatening murder, but none had left the country.

In Maine, an arrest was made in Gardiner. None of the 60 arrests was in Vermont, ICE said.
