Regarding the letter, “Gibson, Bush praised” (BDN, April 16), by Sharon I. Rideout, it might trouble Rideout to know that about 300 million people don’t believe President Bush’s “one true God” runs things around here. Events seem to be leaving them out. Some of them have gotten in some pretty good shots lately in Allah’s name. Forget eternity. I’m now worried that Bush’s God-inspired performance is going to result in me losing my house and living in the back of my car. Advice to Bush: Read more, pray less.
