Antiques shop expansion

The Old Winterport Commercial House antiques shop, Route 1A, has expanded from 2,000 square feet to 3,200 square feet. Owners Ann and Gaspar Ronco opened the addition to the shop April 9.

The shop specializes in antique home furnishings, including cabinets, dressers and marble-top tables in oak, pine, mahogany and walnut. They also carry tall clocks, shelf clocks, stained-glass windows and acid-etched doors.

The shop is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday-Sunday. It will be open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday-Sunday, beginning May 20. The shop also is open by chance on Wednesdays. Call 223-5854 for more information.
