Outlook: The Bears continue the quest for their first victory of the season on an opponent’s home court. UMaine, which has lost four in a row, has won the last seven meetings at Durham. This game between two struggling ballclubs could be sloppy, as UMaine turned the ball over 30 times in Friday night’s 11-point loss at Stony Brook and is averaging 24 per game. The Wildcats cough the ball up 22 times a game. UNH has a decided edge in experience and may try to capitalize on the inside game led by the 6-3 Mathias sisters. However, the ‘Cats haven’t rebounded well and have been among the most anemic offensive teams in the league (57.9 ppg). UNH is coming off Monday’s 62-46 win at Boston University, which snapped a five-game losing streak.
