Caribou High School
CARIBOU – Honor parts for Caribou High School have been announced for the Class of 2004.
Stacey Dubois, daughter of David and Pam Dubois, has been named valedictorian for the Class of 2004. She plans to attend Colby College to study psychology.
She received the Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award, the Society of Women Engineers Certificate of Achievement from the University of Maine, and she was a National Merit Scholarship Commended Student.
Dubois was a member of the basketball team all four years of high school, a homeroom representative for the past two years and a member of the National Honor Society for two years. During her senior year, she participated in yearbook and helped to design and paint the senior class wall.
Whitney Plourde, daughter of Brent and Debbie Plourde, has been named salutatorian for the Class of 2004. She plans to attend the University of Maine to study communication sciences and disorders.
She has been a member of the National Honor Society, student council, French club, concert band, and music facility building committee. She has participated in varsity cheerleading during both the fall and winter season for four years, and she has received the Girl Scout Silver Award.
