Why didn’t the town manager of Dover-Foxcroft include the vote on borrowing $500,000 with the annual town meeting? Voting at this meeting would give all residents a chance to vote.
I work nights and cannot get to the “special” meeting. The town wants more and more of my money as taxes but makes it impossible for me to have any say how the town is run.
The United States was founded on the right to vote. Dover-Foxcroft should give me, and others who cannot get to that meeting, our rights. It is time all votes were made available to all people. Since I will not be able to attend the special town vote, I will give my noncounted vote here: no.
