Tea for dues

Now’s the time to become a member at Bar Harbor’s Abbe Museum – especially if you’re hungry. People who join the museum at the household level ($50) by June 30 will receive a coupon good for a serving of tea (or other beverage) and popovers at the Jordan Pond House. For more information on this delicious offer, visit www.abbemuseum.org or call 288-3519.

Moo lite

It’s a cruel joke that ice cream season coincides with swimsuit season. It doesn’t matter what diet you’re on – you still crave a scoop, right? Well, Ben & Jerry’s knows all about it, and the company has created a line of “rich, bodacious options,” including Carb Karma, No Sugar Added, Light Ice Cream and Low-Fat Frozen Yogurt. So now you can dig in, feel good, and not worry about that bikini.

Coffee stop

If you’re driving through Searsport craving a cup of coffee, fret not. Coastal Coffee and Sandwich has opened at 25 East Main St., next to the new Grasshopper Shop. The shop, open from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m., serves a full range of coffee drinks, pastries, and sandwiches made on Borealis Bread with Boar’s Head meats and Morse’s sour mustard pickles from Waldoboro. Plus, the shop carries Boylan Bottle Works soda from California – mmmmm. For information, call 548-2400.
