Hospital construction leads to TAMC detours

PRESQUE ISLE – Construction of a new main entrance lobby at the Gould Memorial Hospital will begin at The Aroostook Medical Center with the demolition of the old surgery center.

Temporary detours around the imaging center will continue for six weeks to allow contractors to install sprinklers, plumbing, electrical and ventilation systems.

The construction is the final phase of a two year, $16.3 million project that has resulted in the building of the McCain Cardiovascular lab and the J. Paul and Blanche Levesque Imaging Center.
