ORONO – The University of Maine had 125 student-athletes named to the 2003-04 America East Winter/Spring Honor Roll for earning grade-point averages of 3.0 or higher, Chris Monasch, America East commissioner, announced Thursday.

Maine had the highest percentage of student-athletes named to the America East Honor Roll as 125 of its 213 student-athletes (58.7 percent) in winter and spring sports received distinction. Maine softball had the most players honored with 18 of its student-athletes named to the America East Honor Roll.
