STOCKTON SPRINGS – The Congregational Church of Sandy Point celebrated its plans for an addition with a groundbreaking ceremony last month.

The church plans to add a meeting room, Sunday school space, kitchen and restroom to its 164-year-old building.

The church raised $75,000 toward the additions. Members hope to complete the project by Christmas.
