Valeri Ashmore of Eastward Lanes in Ellsworth, and Floyd Neal of Bangor-Brewer Lanes in Brewer each earned a win in the Eastern Maine Average Plus Handicap all-events finals Sunday at the Bangor-Brewer Lanes.

Ashmore edged Lin Williams of Pittsfield 1,291-1,287. Neal easily beat Reggie Tyler of Pittsfield 1,356-1,251. At Lucky Strike Lanes in Gardiner, Mona Lemar of Gardiner and Tom Cary of Oxford Hills won titles. The APH state finals will be held at 1 p.m. June 3 at Eastward Lanes in Ellsworth.
