UNITY – Daryl Aresco scored two goals to help the Unity College Rams defeat the Eastern Maine Community College Eagles 4-1 in men’s soccer action Thursday.

Pete Taliaferro scored a goal and assisted two others for 1-0 Unity and John Korkus had a goal. Tyler Ferguson made six saves on seven shots.

Justin Allen netted a goal at the six- minute mark for the 0-1 Eagles and Trevor Stevens stopped eight of 12 shots.

At Wenham, Mass., Ashley Denyse scored on a Brittany Nanni assist at 12:52 to lead Gordon College by the University of Southern Maine.

Kendra Davis stopped one of three shots for 3-0 Gordon.

Sadie Garnache-Poirier made 12 saves on 18 shots for the 0-3 USM.
