Corey Pion of Husson College has qualified for the National NAIA Golf Tournament in Albuquerque, New Mexico, May 20-26.

Pion qualified after posting the best score at the NAIA Region 10 Championship with a two-round total of 143.

Pion will compete in two days of practice rounds at the national tourney and then the four-round event begins on May 22.

Pion turned in an outstanding fall season for Husson College and was the medalist in five tourneys: the Husson Invitational, the St. Joseph’s Invitational, the Bowdoin Invitational, the Maine Maritime Academy Invitational and the New England NCAA Division III Tourney.
