PITTSFIELD – A husband-and-wife medical team with a number of years of experience between them recently relocated to join two local practices.

Dr. Brad Hout, an internal medicine physician, has joined the practice of Dr. Kevin Flanigan in Pittsfield. Dr. Gretchen Hout, a pediatrician, will be a new staffer at Milo Family Practice.

Brad Hout received his undergraduate degree from Bates College in Lewiston and Gretchen Hout from Amherst College in Massachusetts. The couple met when they attended the University of Vermont College of Medicine, from which they both graduated.

Brad Hout was a resident in the University of Virginia Health Systems Department of Internal Medicine, primary care track. Gretchen Hout completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Virginia Department of Pediatrics.
