On Page A1 of Tuesday’s paper, a story on the California blackout forecasts featured a picture of a man with the name Davis. The man is Gray Davis, governor of California.

A headline on Page B1 of Tuesday’s paper contained an incorrect reference to a violation committed by a British man involved in an air rage incident at Bangor International Airport. The headline should have stated a bail violation resulted in the man’s being sent to jail.

A story on Page B1 Tuesday incorrectly stated that a plea bargain in the case of Kevin Sibley was agreed upon by the Penobscot County District Attorney’s Office. The district attorney’s office actually recommended that Sibley serve seven days in jail and be fined $500 for the three charges of refusing to submit to arrest and possession of Ecstasy and hashish. District Court Judge Jesse Gunther instead imposed the three-day jail sentence and $800 fine.
