A story in Monday’s Maine Day section about a bicycle trek across the state contained incorrect information. There were actually 1,600 participants and rest stops every 15 miles.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars and its Ladies Auxiliary installed state officers June 8-10, and the following names were omitted from the announcement in Thursday’s editions: Walter McAllister of Old Town, installed as sergeant, and Lana McAllister of Old Town, installed as auxiliary conductress.

University of Maine freshman women’s basketball player Kelly Manning, who underwent knee surgery last summer, was identified incorrectly in Friday’s editions.
