A front-page story on school funding Wednesday incorrectly said state lawmakers had approved a bill that sets out a timetable for a transition to an essential-programs-and-services funding model. Instead, lawmakers included money in the state budget to continue implementation without a timetable.
Because of an editing error, a story in some editions Thursday on the East Machias planning board’s denial of a permit to the Maine Atlantic Salmon Commission said East Machias does not have a state-approved comprehensive plan. The town has a state-approved comprehensive plan.

Former Stearns High School football coach Tom Bertrand’s win-loss record with Stearns was listed incorrectly in Wednesday’s paper. His three-year record is 31-3.
