Maine’s microbusinesses were defined two different ways in an article in Tuesday’s edition. The state has nearly 38,000 total nonfarm businesses that employ one to more than 1,000 employees. Nearly 60 percent of those are microbusinesses, which have one to four employees.

Stefany Almendinger from Washington Academy of East Machias should have been listed in Monday’s paper as finishing 16th in the Ellsworth Invitational cross country race with a time of 19 minutes, 34 seconds.
