Correcting the record

A story in Maine Day on Monday incorrectly identified the Rev. Dr. George Curtis III. He is pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Brewer.

A Belfast District Court listing Saturday about April J. Small, 35, of Belfast contained an error. Small was convicted of forgery and theft by deception and was sentenced to concurrent 90-day suspended jail terms and one year of probation on each charge. Small is required to make restitution of $235.

In the Nov. 14 edition, a story on the Dirigo Pines Retirement Community mischaracterized the voting process for the Orono Town Council. The council voted unanimously in regular session to hold a public hearing on Dec. 10.
