Even though it’s hard to ask, Santa’s fund is there to help

Asking for assistance doesn’t come easy to most people, and we’re sure it wasn’t easy for some people who recently wrote to the Salvation Army:

. “This year, because of my husband’s health, we almost lost him [liver disease]. We have no job. We are awaiting a liver transplant, so I am his sole care and need help. Thank you.”

. “I just lost my job and have no income. I have bills to pay and five of us to support by myself.”

. “We just can’t afford to buy anything this year and just can’t bear to see their faces on Christmas morning with nothing under the tree.”
