Correcting the record

A story about Bar Harbor Bankshares in Saturday’s business section included a misspelled name. Bradley C. McCurtain is president of Maine Securities Corp. of Portland. Additionally, to clarify McCurtain’s statement about the bank’s capital position, the story should have read: “… paying a dividend that isn’t all from earnings isn’t much of an issue at [Bar Harbor Bankshares] because the bank is so exceptionally well capitalized.”
