Correcting the record

Pittsfield council candidate Michael Gray, in a quote in Wednesday’s edition, discussed enhancing Pittsfield’s business climate by “going out and getting real jobs.” Gray was not referring to the jobs at Edwards System Technology and San Antonio Shoe. Gray clarified: “We need to create a climate in Pittsfield which protects our current workers and encourages more jobs to take advantage of our greatest resource, the people of central Maine.”
