Correcting the record

A story Tuesday in the State edition about a Caribou motor vehicle accident gave an incorrect name for the passenger in a vehicle driven by Richard Bouchard. The correct name was Brandon Bouchard. It was a reporting error.

A story on the State page Wednesday about the Maine Coast Heritage Trust’s acquisition of Marshall Island gave the wrong location of the trust’s headquarters. It is based in Topsham, with an office in Somesville. It was an editing error.

In a Jan. 16 story about the State Board of Education’s decision not to fund a new building for Penobscot Valley High School in Howland, Bonnie Lovett was described incorrectly. She is chairwoman of the citizens’ building committee. It was a reporting error.

The Bangor City Council’s discussion about granting tentative developer status to Capital Seven LLC, which proposes to redevelop the harness racing facility at Bass Park, is tentatively scheduled for Jan. 27, not Dec. 27, as reported in the final edition of Wednesday’s newspaper.
