A story in Friday’s Final edition incorrectly stated that a high school tuition proposal being considered by SAD 63 would save $1 million a year. In a Dec. 31, 2002, story about the Maine Freedom of Information Coalition’s public records audit, The Associated Press inaccurately attributed a quote. It was Michael Starn, a spokesman for the Maine Municipal Association, and not Geoffrey Herman, its legislative director, who said: “It’s still not uncommon to find elected officials kind of shell-shocked [with requests for public records].”
