A story in Wednesday’s NEWS on the Red Cross seeking blood donations contained a wrong telephone number to call to schedule a blood donation. The correct number is 1-800-GIVE LIFE or 1-800-448-3543.

An item in the Police Files column on Page B2 in Wednesday’s edition contained the following inaccuracy: A drunken driving suspect was quoted as saying she had been drinking at the Ground Round; however, that establishment has been closed for renovations since Sunday and could not have served her.
