A story in Thursday’s Bangor Daily News misstated the status of Nexfor Fraser Papers with regard to the former Great Northern Paper holdings. The company manages the mills in East Millinocket and Millinocket for the new Canadian owners, Brascan Corp.

A story on page B4 of Thursday’s edition about indictments in federal court was unclear. In a meeting with a Maine State Police investigator working undercover, Peter David Frost, 36, of Meddybemps represented himself as a National Rifle Association-certified instructor, according to court documents. Frost was indicted Tuesday for illegal possession of firearms.
