The Brewer High School fourth quarter honor roll printed on Page B4 in July 11 editions contained an error. Brandon Libby, grade 11, should have been listed under high honors.

A story about a dispute over a private road on Page B3 of Friday’s editions incorrectly stated the Dogtown Road is located in Detroit. It is actually in Palmyra.

A headline and lead sentence of a story in Friday’s paper may have oversimplified Attorney General Steven Rowe’s ruling about the state’s coyote snaring program. As was explained later in the story, Rowe stated the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife would be in violation of the federal Endangered Species Act the moment a protected species is killed, unless the state is granted a permit from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
