In a story about West Nile virus published Tuesday, the toll-free phone number for reporting dead birds to the state Bureau of Health should have been: 1-888-697-5846.

Mary Callahan, author of the book “Memoirs of a Baby Stealer: Lessons I’ve Learned as a Foster Mother,” lives in Lisbon. Callahan’s hometown was misidentified in last week’s story about the merging of Maine’s Department of Human Services and Department of Behavioral and Developmental Services.
