Correcting the record

A story on Page B3 on Wednesday incorrectly reported that two people won seats on the Dover-Foxcroft Board of Selectmen. Although there are two positions open, only one position was to be filled during Tuesday’s municipal election. That position was filled by Joyce Perry.

A name was omitted from the Women in Business advertising section that was in the paper Thursday, Oct. 30. Stephanie Craig of Hartt’s Transportation should have been listed as one of the business’s employees.

Two recent articles on the Dexter Regional High School boys soccer team erroneously said the Tigers won their first-ever Eastern Maine championship last Saturday. Dexter won an Eastern Maine Class B title in 1984.

A story published in Thursday’s State edition about the possible move of the superintendent’s office in Limestone erroneously attributed a statement about money savings and costs to Town Manager Donna Bernier. The only information coming from the town office was the voting results.
