A story about an arrest at Stephen King’s home in Bangor that ran on Page 2 of Monday’s State section incorrectly stated that the author would be at the National Book Awards ceremony Friday. King will receive a lifetime achievement medal from the National Book Foundation on Wednesday.

A story published on Page One Saturday about a seaplane crash at Horseshoe Pond incorrectly attributed a statement to William Brownell, clerk of courts in U.S. District Court. The statement was provided by William Browder, first assistant in the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

A headline on the State page story about the Catholic church’s closing in Brownville Junction contained an error. The parish the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church served has not closed.
