The last portion of the proposed solid waste transportation route mentioned in the “Letter trashes waste transportation plan” article in Thursday’s State section was incorrect. The proposed route would take the trash through Old Town via Route 43 to the Bennoch Road and then north past Exit 53 of Interstate 95, just south of the Alton town line. The West Old Town Landfill is located west of I-95, between Exits 52 and 53.
